Tired of the relentless battle between conflicting political viewpoints? Choose The Journal of Orgonomy as your source for truth about today’s important concerns.
We at the Journal are proud to announce volume 51:1, our newest edition. This edition contains four articles that describe the treatment of patients with medical orgone therapy. „Three Cases of Severe Work Disturbance, A Preliminary Report“ by Dr. Alberto Foglia; „Contact Before Contract“ by Dr. Jackie Bosworth; „A Young Man’s Cavalier Attitude and His Rationalization of Marijuana Abuse“ by Dr. Salvatore Iacobello and „The Need to Express Emotions and Be Understood“ by Dr. Susan Marcel recount emotionally moving stories about patients trying to improve their lives through medical orgone therapy and the efforts of their doctors to help them.
Articles in the social sphere include „Socialism,“ an essay by Charles Scalinger, which plainly and factually describes the failures of socialism in the modern world and „A Functional View of Drug and Alcohol Addiction“ which distills my own observations from 20 years of experience treating addicts.
Dr. Charles Konia’s article, „Orgonotic Contact VI: Memory is a Function in the Realm of Coexistent Action“ uses the example of memory to help define, through the use of functional equations, the realm of coexistent action and how it differs from the conventional view that all natural processes have defined measures of length and time.
This issue also contains the latest installments of two ongoing features in the Journal: „The Emotional Plague in Everyday Life,“ a forum moderated by Dr. Virginia Whitener that presents instances of emotional plague behavior submitted by the public and „Notes From the Field,“ another article from Dr. Whitener, that describes improvements in the treatment of babies born addicted to opioids.
We all struggle with the current polarizing atmosphere of political partisanship, but we do not have to let that keep us from seeking and finding truth. Truth, as Wilhelm Reich understood it, is rooted in contact with the life in yourself and with the life in other people
and the world around you. It stands in stark contrast to „fake news“ and the ideologies that pass for truth on the public stage. It is this concept of truth that forms a guiding principle for the authors and editors of The Journal of Orgonomy.
The Journal is available in print and electronic versions and can only be subscribed through The American College of Orgonomy. Don’t miss this issue.
