Die Probleme, mit denen Wilhelm Reich während der 1920er und 30er Jahre in Österreich und Deutschland im „Kulturkampf“ konfrontiert war, unterscheiden sich im Grunde kaum von denen, mit denen sich seine Schüler noch heute in den USA auseinandersetzen müssen. Es werden jedenfalls noch immer die gleichen Dinge diskutiert.
90 Jahre später dreht sich in den USA die „liberale” schulische Sexualaufklärung darum, die Jugendlichen vor den verheerenden körperlichen, seelischen und auch geistigen Folgen von sexuellen Aktivitäten zu bewahren. Es wird ihnen vollständige sexuelle Abstinenz nahegelegt.
Die beiden Soziologen Bill McCarthy und Eric Grodsky konnten aufgrund landesweiter Erhebungen zeigen, daß es zwar eine Korrelation zwischen schulischen Problemen und sexuellen Aktivitäten außerhalb liebevoller Partnerschaften gibt, jedoch kaum ein Unterschied zwischen den schulischen Leistungen von Abstinenzlern und jenen Schülern festzustellen ist, die eine liebevolle sexuelle Partnerschaft leben.
McCarthy und Grodsky:
Insgesamt zeigen unsere Ergebnisse, daß die Schädlichkeit, die allgemein jugendlichem Geschlechtsverkehr zugeschrieben wird, größtenteils in nicht-romantischen Zusammenhängen auftritt. Diese Ergebnisse stellen die Richtigkeit von Programmen zur sexuellen Aufklärung in Frage, die jugendlichen Sex mit jeder Menge von negativen Folgen verbinden.
Offenbar geradezu revolutionäre Forschungsergebnisse für die USA Anfang des 21. Jahrhunderts. Genauso revolutionär wie die „überraschende“ Erfahrung, die Colorado gemacht hat: die Geburtenhäufigkeit bei jungen Frauen zwischen 15 und 19 fiel innerhalb von fünf Jahren um sage und schreibe 40 Prozent, als kostenlose bzw. verbilligte Verhütungsmittel an die entsprechende Klientel mit geringem Einkommen verteilt wurden. Die einzige Alternative, nämlich die „Erziehung zur Abstinenz“, führt nachweislich zu keiner Abstinenz, sondern allenfalls zu einem schlechten Körpergefühl und mehr Verantwortungslosigkeit.

Warum versucht man dann immer noch diese Art der Erziehung?
Da habe ich eine Vermutung:
indem man den Jugendlichen sagt, dass sie die Jahre und Jahrzehnte bis zum Erreichen des Erwachsenenalters (im sozialen und finanziellen Sinne) – von der Masturbation abgesehen – abstinent zu sein haben, möchte man sie – wie ich glaube – zu maximalen Leistungen im schulischen, universitären, und beruflichen Bereich motivieren.
Tolle Idee – nur: es funktioniert nicht!!

The situation is worse now than it was in the 1950s. And it is getting even worse. The U.S. government spends $176,000,000 a year on a Federal program of speakers going into every high school in the country trying to convince teenagers to sign a contract with God not to have sex until they are married. It is not working very well. But both parties are in favor of this idiocy because it buys votes in the Bible Belt states. More than 1,000,000 teenagers have signed the contract, but studies have shown they do not stick to it.
Abstinence only is the only part of sex education that is allowed to be taught. A large part of what is called sex education consists of teaching fear of AIDS and pregnancy. Contraception is not allowed to be taught in school and laws prevent girls from getting birth control pills from a doctor without parents permission.
In Califdornia and New York, most kids know something about sex and things are not so bad. But in the Deep South and the Midwest, where nearly everyone goes to church every week and to Bible Study classes on Wednsday evening, most young people are still told that sex is only allowed in a life-long marriage, and even then, only to procreate. I have met teenagers who still discuss with each other, in private, with no adults around, if masturbation is immoral or not.
There is a very good reason why this situation exists. Someone in the government, by which I mean, not the political, elected portion of the official government, but the permanent, unelected, unofficial government, has read Wilhelm Reich and realized the way to create fascists for the next generation is to do the reverse of what Reich urged: dam up the sexual instinct of youth and it can easily be diverted into support for totalitarianism, militarism, and aggression.
The teaching of abstinence only in all schools in America is deliberately intended to result in a fascist mentality in the next generation. The conclusion that there are some „Black Reichians“ in Washington is inescapeable. The writings of Wilhelm Reich are being used to create a generation of fascists by people who know very well exactly what they are doing.
And nobody dares to speak up against this travesty because any teacher who criticized the prevailing anti-sexual ideology would be accused of being in favor of adults having sex with children and lose his job. This actually almost happened to one Reichian teacher in Maine several years ago. He had an article on his orgonomic website about adolescent sex and some parents complained that he was unfit to teach.

War nicht in Europa die Unterrichtung über Verhütung der Haupt-Grund, warum Sexualkunde an der Schule überhaupt eingeführt wurde?

The main reason for sex education in America is to prevent young people from having sex. The thinking is that if they do not know how to prevent pregnancy, they will be afraid to have sex and will remain abstinent. The same thinking is why the Christians, which is what the Fascists are called in America, are against welfare benefits for single mothers. They think that if there is no welfare to be had, girls will not have sex for fear of having a child they cannot afford to support.
I once saw a movie produced by a Methodist church group in Kansas that included graphic pictures of syphylis lesions and greatly exagerated the dangers of sexually transmited diseases and claimed there was no cure for them. The message was that sex is dangerous and should be avoided. This film was being shown to church youth groups all over the country. THis was a blatant attempt to scare teenagers away from sex. It probably did not succeed very well, but it might have made some of them too nervous to enjoy it very much.
As Reich pointed out, sexual starvation in the first several years after puberty, when the sex drive is strongest, can result in fascistic tendencies later on in life. And I strongly suspect the people in charge of setting government policies for education are aware of Reich’s writings and see them as a blueprint for creating useful followers in the next generation. I call these people „Black Reichians“. They have read Reich, or at least some of their advisors have, and considered his writings accurate, so they intentionally use what they learned from Reich to form young people into fascists.
Reich warned about that sort of perversion of his work in the Murder Of Christ. And it is happening just as he said it would.

Der Artikel trifft die Sache nur zur Hälfte. Die Sexualaufklärung in den USA ist noch schlimmer als hier beschrieben. Ich beziehe mich hierbei ua auf den Schulpsychologen Dee Apple und die Jugendtherapeutin Virginia Whitener.
Neben den offen antisexuellen Botschaften mit dem Fokus auf den schlimmst möglichen Fall und den damit einhergehenden schockierenden Fotos von mit Krankheiten übersäten Körperteilen, wirbt man unter der Flagge der sexuellen Vielfalt für jede Art prägenitaler Sexualität nach dem Motto „anything goes“.
Mit der Gleichsetzung von genitaler und prägenitaler Sexualität wird Erstere noch weiter degradiert. Tatsächlich hört man von den bunten Weltverbesserern ja auch hierzulande nur im negativen Sinne von Genitalität, zB als zu kritisierende „Zwangsheteronormativität“.
Das Resultat ist noch mehr Verwirrung und Angst bei den Jugendlichen. Es fehlt die gesellschaftliche Unterstützung bei eh schon enormen inneren Hemmungen. Enge und intime Beziehungen mit ihren Verpflichtungen und emotionalen Herausforderungen verlangen den Jugendlichen zu viel ab, weswegen sie lockere, kurzweilige und verantwortungslose sexuelle Beziehungen bevorzugen.
Nein, Wilhelm Reich ist tot. Das hat er nicht im Jahr 2015 geschrieben, sondern in seinem Buch „Die sexuelle Revolution“ (Fischer Taschenbuch (2004 [1936]), S. 126).

Praktisch erschöpft sich die jugendliche Sexualität im „Oralsex“ (siehe https://nachrichtenbrief.wordpress.com/2014/01/26/die-bedeutung-von-vorbildern/) und „theoretisch“: die harte Pornographie, der sie ausgesetzt sind, hat praktisch nur ein Thema – „Analsex“.

But I had heard much the same thing about another former Reichian therapist, Elemnor Hamilton, who had a sex advice colum for teenagers syndicated to many newspapers.

Eine nicht gewählte, nicht offizielle Regierung. Sowas bekommen wir ja auch in Europa nach und nach – durch Brüssel. Das ist nicht gewählt. Abgesehen von dem Parlament, welches aber nur sehr eingeschränkte Kompetenzen hat.

I must point out emphatically, as an American, that no such picture exists as tzindaro paints. There are no „right-wing“ fascists, since as most here know, we are living in an anti-establishment culture. On the contrary, we do have a White House with almost dictatorial powers, since the Republicans are on the same side.
And what anti-sexual policy has Obama pushed for the last eight years? Homosexual marriage and now the normalizing and decreeing of transexualism. So there is no real „anti-sex“ education in schools as would have been the case fifty years ago, but the „all sex is equal“ mantra, with the unstated policy that secondary sex is even superior. If there is any „abstinence“ training, it is done without any seriousness and with a „wink.” Even the Catholic Church has stopped preaching abstinence, mainly because they are changing with the times. But unfortunately, only a few of their brave spokesmen have stood up to the onslaught of the above.

As the wise adage states: use your common sense and check your sources–especially if they come from another land, as even reading one’s local media is questionable.
