The ACO is offering the public an exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn how medical orgone therapy makes a difference in treating a variety of emotional problems. We are launching a new, ongoing series of clinical case presentations and discussions being held monthly at the ACO campus in Princeton, NJ.
The first event in the series on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM is „An Adolescent Comes Out of the Fog of Marijuana“ by Peter A. Crist, M.D. Joining Dr. Crist will be Dale Rosin, D.O. as discussant.
Following the recent, successful ACO-sponsored Forum on the „Problems with Marijuana,“ it is important to hear first-hand from therapists in the trenches who are dealing with the fallout of marijuana use in young people.
As Dr. Crist notes, „Drug abuse is but one manifestation of the human problem of contactlessness. Many names–contactlessness, cluelessness, obliviousness and denial–all refer to the same basic tendency to disconnect and blank out as a way of avoiding intolerable feelings. We must address this problem before we have any chance of tackling other individual and societal emotional problems. The ACO is about helping people live in greater connection with their health, both individually and as a society.“
